KEN HANSEN

Ken has always had a passion for dancing. Our Denmark native began his dance career at the young age of eight, starting as the Danish Hip Hop Champion. Eventually finding a love for the Ballroom and Latin industry, he traveled the world and quickly rose to become not only the Danish Latin Champion, but eventually the North European Latin Champion, as well. His notable resume found him a place on Europe’s “So You Think You Can Dance” and “The Stage is Yours.”

Ken moved to the United States at the age of twenty two in order to better his knowledge of dance. He’s had the honor of working with the best dancers and choreographers in the world such as Corky and Shirley Ballas, Collin James, and many more. Currently partnered with Christina Penatello, the two have found themselves as United States American Rhythm Finalists. Christina and Ken continue to coach and choreograph throughout the country in helping others achieve their dreams.

We are privileged to have Ken as a part of our Fred Astaire Family and experience his fun-loving, and highly distinguished method of teaching.
