THE FRED ASTAIRE TRADITION
The Fred Astaire Dance Studio tradition began in 1947, when Mr.
Fred Astaire, considered to be the greatest multitalented dancer
of all time, personally developed a practical, interrelated dance
curriculum for the first Fred Astaire Dance Studio on New York City's
Park Ave.
Through the decades that followed, the company expanded internationally,
respectfully adhering to the basic principles of dance instruction
established by its Maestro, Mr. Fred Astaire. Since 1990, the Red
Bank Fred Astaire Dance Studio has carried on that fine tradition
and is presently one of the premier Ballroom Dance Studios in the
Tri-State area. The studio director is André Gosselin,
a former Canadian Latin Champion and Eastern American Smooth Champion.
